That's not a bad idea with some type of heat resistant coating or a wrap.
Mine's dry.

ok thanks for the advise, I found a volant on ebay this guy had new and never put it on. I won it for $150, so I will just stick to this and worry about exhaust later. has anyone tried to run a x pipe were the ehaust goes from 2 to one into the inlet of the muffler collector? it might work. duels would be nice!
