Other intakes in trucks

What would be the best intake to put in my 03' silverado...all i need to be fbo is the lt's....ive been reading other threads n been getting confused...is it the ls2,ls7,or the tbss...im not planning to go cammed cause im always on the highway....or is it pointless without a cam?????

you probably dont really need a bigger intake, but if you just want one and your not going to do anything major with your truck you should probably just go with a tbss intake

TBSS intake is a nice factory upgrade, but if I had the jack I'd be rockin a FAST LSXRT. Nothing wrong with running a cam on the highway if you chose the right cam, especially since your torque converter will be locked up at highway speeds. My baby cam does great on the highway, and the famous Comp 212/218 is daily driven all of the time with great results and nothing more than a set of yellow LS6 springs and maybe some hardened pushrods. Of course if it were me I'd go with at least a 2600 converter, but many have run it with the stocker with great results
