Nope, no Allison for 6.0 trucks.

Cool truck Mark. I hope it comes in soon!

I've got a new 2500HD crew cab shortbed 4x4. We haul boats upward of 25000 lbs and I gotta say that truck is the most awesome tow vehicle this side of a 18wheeler I've ever seen. We've had the cummins, we had a powerstroke, and they don't hold a candle to the 8.1 and allison. Shitty gas mileage is the only downside, but its worth it. I'm sure you will enjoy your new truck. I guarantee you won't even know your car is behind you.

the 2500HD are sweet, I still would have said 8.1L, instead of 6.0 having a little extra torque is never a bad thing, except at the gas pump

You can always put the turbo on it and have the best of both worlds HP & TQ plus better MPG's.
