Default Ordered the cam, stall & underdrive pulley

I went Futral Motorsports yesterday and ordered all the parts. They should be ready in about 3 weeks. I guess I'm not getting any sleep for a while, lol.

220/220 .547/.547 114 +4
Comp 918 springs
FMS 7.4 chrome-moly Pushrods
Yank 3000 stall
underdrive pulley
misc. install parts

The wait is already killing me. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't already have the money for the install & dyno tune, lol. I could still be busting my a$$ to save and not have time to day dream, lol. I think this combo is going to produce some real fun

My truck came with the towing package that include an external trans. cooler. Is that going to be big enough? Should I get a 160 or 180 deg. thermostate an get it installed as well?

You need to put an additional cooler on as well. The bigger the better. I don't think there is a need to do the thermostat, but that's just my opinion and is not based on anything.

mine came with the towing package as well and i was just not happy with the trans temp around 180 so i went with a LONG 40,000 GVW and it brought the temps down to around 130-140 in town in 95 degree weather. i ditched the factory ext cooler all together.

Thanks for the heads up fellers. Will it be O.K. to drive for a little while before i get a bigger cooler? Will I need to put more fluid in the trans. if I run a bigger cooler?
