i would certainly agree with that gear change. with the height of those tires a 4.10 should have been standard. a 4.10 gear and a trailblazer converter would be worth about .3-.4 if you could get those Eagle LS's to hook.

I had my Vig restalled to 3000 and I wish I wouldve gone to 3200. I think an eaton would be more beneficial than gears. I havent heard of too many that were really happy with gear swap gains.
Slap on that nitrous kit and a nice cam and you'll be set!!

Magnaflow is Bad *** I just had mine installed along with AS&M Headers dual 2 1/2 into a (part#14568) Magnaflow dual 2 1/2 out with 3 1/2 tips x 18 the best sounding exaust I ever had including Corsa in my opinion of course.

It has a locking rear-end! Correct? Is that the eaton?

it should already have an eaton gov-lock in it. good enough at this point for the power he's putting down.
