Default optimal bearing clearance...

What are all the high hp guys running for main, rod and ptw clearances???

as far as i know you should want factory rod and main clearances and then ask you piston supplier what they reccomend for a PTW clearence also reference in about .003 if you are going to spray a big shot of the juice

Rods .0018 to .0025
Mains .0020 to .0027
stay on the tight side if you use nitrous to keep from beating the bearings to death and use a good oil
no less than .005 on the thrust

ptw depends on the piston material/skirt length - whether the block is iron or aluminum - types of power adders etc. - anywhere from .002 for a cast piston to .005 for a forged nitrous application (actually seen applications with as much as .009)
