I'm still researching off idle boost, and from what I have further learned & found, I am ever-more convinced that the modified roots(Radix) does in fact produce the fastest off idle boost and IS in fact the best STREET S/C system out there. Not just because the Radix kit is the most complete, but also for its inherent strengths and weaknesses.

I know, it's cool bro, no worries here. Let us know when your STS is all sorted

on a side note: day to day driving, how much boost you running?

ever been to Australia? just wondering due to your reference (mate)

My kit is sorted out. It's my motor I am "sorting" out now. LOL I can't wait to take it apart and see where all the broken pieces go. LOL I bet it's my rod bolts though. LOL

Day to day I usually keep it in the base 5-6psi setting. It's sufficient for passing and for easy car racing. I feel like it would probably be a mid 13 in low boost due to my compression and low timing, fuel etc. When needed I just flick the switch to high boost which is usually set to about 12psi but sometimes hits 13psi. I hit high boost only once a day or once every couple days. I commute 150miles a day though so I rack the miles up really quick! The last few days though I have hit the high boost button and it slams to 15psi. Needless to say i don't make full long runs like that, just enough to humiliate whomever if messing with me. LOL

Never been down under but I had a neighbor in one of my apartments who was from there and I would talk to him for hours about life crap and I pick up accents VERY quickly. I know it sounds dumb but Australian, Mexcian, and Southern accents I end up doing without even thinking about it once I hear someone talkign like that. Stupid I know but I can't help it. As for the mate thing. I picked it up from the neighbor AND in this online RPG game I play it is used VERY requently so I just naturally type it. LOL

Cheers LOL
