I have a 2003 GMC Yukon 4x4 with the 5.3 litre. This is what I have done in Mods so far:
1: Predator Tuner
2: Magnaflow cat-back exhaust
3: Volant Cold air intake
4: Granatelli Mass Air Flow sensor (cold air intake version)
5: Bosch Platinum Plus 4 spark plugs.
I have two questions:
1: I have installed the tune that comes programmed in the Predator Tuner, I was wondering what settings this installs? I noticed that it does not lift the speed limiter.
2: If you install the tune that comes with the predator, are you able to adjust 1 setting via the manual settings, or will this erase the tune that was installed already?
3: Does anyone have any manual settings that are recommended for my truck and the mods I have?
4: Is there anyway to accidentally erase the performance tune that comes
installed on the predator when you buy it?
5: Say I install the performance tune that came with the predator, but I want to remove the speed limiter also. Can I install the performance tune, then go to manual settings and just change the speed limiter without losing the performance tune? (hope you understand what I am asking)
Thank you!
Steve

with predator you can install the Diablo tune as is and be happy, or you can go in there and tweak the settings. like firm up the shifts, speed up shifts, raise the speed limiter, create more spark and such.
i have that unit and i just got a custom tune for it. my diablo stock tune is gone. but you can get it back.
also, when you start playing with it, make sure you go out and test what you have done. that way your engine isn't running lean or rich. there is a lot of info on here in the search feature that can answer a lot more of your questions with this.
