high temps really kill your times

 

amazing how much the temp can affect your times. i have a g-tech and the last time i used it was in the winter. i had some mods done to my truck since. the yank3000 went in a month ago. i really dont want to g-tech it because i know i will be disappointed with the results due to the hot weather. i was hoping to get my 15.625 down to a 15.2.

02 black 5.3, a programmer should really help get you in the 14's consistently.

 

i think cali guys are at a disadvantage. the elevation and weather are not good for running times down here

 

I know the heat has a big factor but even with elevation problems my buddy did it in similar elevation,
I wish it would go 14.8 like seeingred

 

ive heard that torque manegment is worse on the 02s over the 01s. could be why your frinds truck is a little faster. a good programmer will help alot.
