Default only went 15.62,@87

Went to silver dollar dragway today with alot of other cars from this site. The track is in south Georgia and it was 90 degrees all day. most cars where off of their times by a couple tenths from their best but a 15.62@87 seems a little slow for a 02 regular cab 5.3, 3.73, bed cover, Upd intake, ported throtle body, descreened maf,3 chamber flowmaster muffler, no spinning of tires and 2.32 60 foot any body have any thoughts.

P.S about 100 pounds of stereo equipmentin it ,pretty much a stock truck

I saw a truck with the same mods running about the same times @ our local track the other night. Sounds like you are running where you should be.

Good times 02. With cooler weather and losing that stereo equipment you could probably lose at least 3 tenths off your quarter time. SO low 15s arent bad at all.

Its important to remember that alot of the low quarter mile times and impressive dyno charts people pull dont always mention the elevation and temperature they are performed under.

Good times dude!
