one more EGR question
#11
the factory plug is a rip... just go down to your local auto shop and buy a freeze plug the same size and hammer it in with a rubber hammer...... pluging the exhaust is just as easy.... cut off the tube comming out of the egr flange and weld the hole shut grind it smooth and bolt it back up with the stock gasket........ cutting that little part sticking into your intake from the egr is a joke as far as getting power out of that............ and belive it or not you will still pass emissions without the egr unless in cali....... i had mine tested after no egr and still passed....

The factory plug will seal, is held in place by the stock bolt the egr uses, won't fall into the intake and cause damage, and costs less than 12 bucks...... joke? Not to me, but I've had an engine blow up because of something that got past the intake valve.
BTW the part number is 12558346. Check and make sure this is the right number before ordering.
