Default Ok guys need a lil help getting faster..

Ok first off ive got a 99 Silverado ECSB 5.3L, 3.42 peg leg...
Ive got a magnaflow catback and just ordered a tune from Allen..
My question is what do i do next..
1) Comp Cams LS1 Camshaft - 212 / 218 .522 / .529 114 LSA
Comp Cams 918 Springs.. Retune from Allen
2)Yank TT3000
3)4.10 gears and a Detroit True Trak or Eaton Posi...
4) AS&M Longtube Headers

Any help you guys could give me would be appreciated.. and if there is something that you think would be a good upgrade that is not on the list be sure to add it in.. Im tired of being slow.. and i know its gonna take a while to get anywhere near fast but ive got to start somewhere..
Thanks again in advance..

P.S I dont want to do a motor swap right now or nitrous.. maybe later..

I would first do number 2. Then I would do number 3 after the converter is in. These two should give you a huge difference IMO.

I would do it in order of 3, 2, 1, 4, just the way I would do it.

I would worry about the gears and eaton posi before any of these also because I have the same setup as you (99 5.3 ECSB) and it wasnt till I did the gears and posi that things got going! The stall and cam at the same time would be a hell of a jump also. Good choice on cam, it is popular around here.

I would agree with the last gentlemen if you want to do one of those things first at the least cost. The gear will make the biggest difference for the money. You will really want to change the converter before/or at the same time as the cam. I would think of the cam and converter together as being one big, expensive mod that will cost a lot but it will also make the biggest difference.

I got the 4.10s and Detroit TrueTrac installed and it helps out a lot. I would probably do one of the other mods first but my rear end went out so I pretty much had to do it then. I am very satisfied with the setup though, no complaints at all.

i say headers verter cam gears because when you start with those mods you will need the extra flow so get it outta the way so it is not slowing you down in the end.... IMO you dont want to see enormous gains from headers (dont take that the wrong way) you still obviously want to see gains and with those headers you will but if you see enormous gains then that means that you were choking the shiite out of your motor earlier do the headers fist or the verter if you have to
