I would highly suggest prior to installing one put a vacuum pump on the catch can and check it for leaks. Mine leakex like a ****, i had to reseal all the fittings. It took a little while to figure it out cause my trins went crazy due to the un-metered air being let in

You guys want a REAL Catchcan?
Instead of those over priced aluminum cans that amount to nuthing more than a empty expansion chamber?

Check this out.
http://www.saikoumichi.com/OCC_explanation.htm

I build mine, the exact same way out of PVC, brass barbs, brass tubing inside and stainless filter screens. Painted black or use black PVC.
I also put 2 90* barbs on one side of the can with a clear tube connecting them, this allows you to easily see when it needs to be drained and cleaned.

A properly setup can will reduce 99% of the blowby gasses from re-entering your Intake.

I think the year on those is just for the mounting perhaps? I have no idea which year i ordered.. More than likely they are all exactly the same...

Corey, that's actually a Mike Norris Motorsports catch can. They are quality pieces from all that I've read. Vengeance Racing sells them along with some other people. I think they are on Amazon under a different name. Also, I believe he is a site sponsor over on tech. Search over there, they have some good threads between it and the Rev Max which appear to be the two of choice. It's the can I'm gonna run on my setup.
