Thanks guys.
The truck ran like a top on the ride home to install the plug wires. Immediately after is when I observed all this stuff. I think it could be part of the cold weather thing, but last night it was aroud 35F, and the truck is DEFINITELY down on power on the highway. It would take it's time to get up and go - like a turbo-lag kind of thing. This really bums me out. If it wasn't for the better gas mileage, I'd probably have already pulled these out. I don't want to give up just yet.
I used dielectric grease on all the connections...
I don't have any radio noise...
The exhaust note is just about back to normal. That's throwing me for a loop.
As for the other SS stuff - Mods for next year here: I want to put in a Comp Cam's 212/218 522/529 114, cutouts (electric?) on the stock exhaust, Yank 2600, lighter rims, and I have a UPD in the mail. I also want to pick up some diagostic software and Edit. I might spray it next-next year.
I haven't really got the truck in any serious snow yet. We had some squalls come through the other day which caused all kinds of problems for the bad Massachusetts drivers, but I never even got a slip... without trying. I think we're looking at a foot or more for the weekend, so I'll have to get back on this one.

Just wanted to post and update.
The engine has been moody as anything lately. Some days it runs awesome. Park it for 20 minutes, take it back out, and it's a turd... and vise versa.
I went to swap my stock wires back on. Two of the Taylors let go on me. Both of them left the spark-plug clip still attached to the plug.
It looks like those metal clips were attached too tightly to the inner core of the wire, comprimising it's strength.
Put the stockers back on, and the engine is back to what I'm used to. Kicks down at the drop of a hat. Pulls much more 'freely'. Throws those lazer warnings all the time.
I'll see what Taylor says about this.

Okay... digging up this old thread to post a longer term follow up.
Taylor replaced my wires for me. They said they were improperly crimped.
I hastily tossed on the new set last night. Didn't measure any ohms or anything. I figured they'd be coming off again soon.
Nope, the truck runs mint. I got the results I first expected.
The truck pulls much cleaner throughout the entire RPM range, it has a nice healthy tone to it, and it takes much less throttle to get the truck up to speed. I'm REALLY happy.
I actually saw 18.1 mpg on the ride into work this morning. That's in a 5,300lb truck with a 6.0 and AWD. Not too shabby...

I was taking it easy, but I was in no way "that slow guy". I still pulled a few holeshots at lights.
