Default Octane Booster

Has anyone used octane booster in their trucks? Any power increase? Can it be used with a HPP3? Does it help the engine burn more efficiently/ better mpg? Thanks

Snake oil! Not good for ANYTHING in your truck......Valves, Cats, O2's. Save your money and the harm to your truck.

It will adversely effect performance if you aren't tuned for it as it doesn't burn too efficiently. Besides that **** in a can from the parts store may raise your octane .2-.7 now a REAL boost would be tossing in some toulene or xylene in a one gal of that for every 4-5gal of 91+ gas.

i have dumped in xylene 5 gallons at a time many times, it wont help unless you turn up the boost though, and it sounds like you dont have and of that to turn up.

If you you use xylene (paint thinner) do you have to had like anything to lube it because that stuff is kinda dry?

The fuel in the tank mixes with it. I believe it's like what 117 octane by itself?
