Default OBX headers below the frame rail?

Im looking into getting the OBX long tubes but im concerned that they might hang below the frame rail? My has full air ride and the frame lays when laid completely out. Do they tuck up above the frame rail or will the bottom out on my truck?

Hirdle, can you post pictures of your engine bay with good shots of the headers?

When I first put my pacesetters on, the ypipe hung down below my crossmember. I'm lowered about 4.5/7 so I would scrape on anything since my wheelbase is so long. I just had an exhaust shop raise my ypipe like you would on a stock truck.

Get a custom y-pipe made for it. Mandrel bend pipe from hooker is only like 30-40 bucks for the long U-bends in 3". Keep an eye on the flanges too to make sure they don't hang a little low. It'd suck to lay it out and bend the headers up, lol

It's the angle I took the picture - trust me they do not hang down. They are no lower than the support braces that go from the frame to the engine crossmember - here are some more header pics.

Those headers look very nice. I'm very anxious to get mine! Do you have any tips for the install? Did you take the spark plugs out and more importantly is it possible to do a spark plug change with those headers on?
