Haha. Actually i have paid for every mod myself. My dad simply gave me permission to buy the cam when i pulled some grades last semester. He never bought a thing but the truck is half his and thats the issue. If I held the title to the truck, i would have that thing running 10s! haha. It sux!

 

you mean if you held the title and held a fatter wallet you;d have your long bed running tens? what color is your truck? i was in college station yesterday and will be today and ill be on the look out for you. yea my dad still "owns" my truck but what i figure is, he gave it to me and if i pay for the mods themselves then whats he got to complain about except when stuff breaks and i have no mo' cash

He pays for nothing! I had money saved up from when i raised my steer that along side of other money i have put in my savings for a rainy day when my motor or tranny pops.


BTW the money on my W-2 depressed me because i didnt have a fraction of it left in my bank account.

 

its ok beau, everyone has to depend on parents sometime.... kidding though, my parents have spotted me cash for plenty of things and im cool with it, so are they as long as i pay them back in a timely fashion

 

haha. thats just the thing. When i started college, my dad said they would take care of my gas (to and from school and my house) and half my insurance as long as i kept at least a 3.0 gpa and took at least 17 hours per semester. Now with buying the tranny, tranny cooler, verter, gears and such, its gonna be fun payiing off half of the insurance this summer.

 

ha ha its always fun having enough money to buy all these mods you want then coming to realize, "hey now i need money to pay for all the stuff i NEED...."
