After completing my camswap, i noticed that my oil pressure was significantly lower than normal. I dropped the pan again this morning to find half of the o-ring bunched up and busted. I CANT FIND THE OTHER HALF OF THE O_-RING!!!!!. Where the hell could it be? Is there a possible way that the oil pump could have shoved it up into a galley or something? Im freakin out man!! Im heading to class and then im gonna pick up a new o ring on the way back.
BTW- I found it easier removing the crossmember and pushing the steering components out of the way when removing the pan itself.

Dont worry about it. It got chewed up by the pump rotor and its already done its damage dont waste your time looking for it. If you want you can pull the oil pfilter and and cut it open and look for bits and pieces of it in there. Hate to say it Beau but I told you to BE CAREFUL and you didnt listen

I found the rest of the oring chewed up in the oil filter. I was releived! And Cody, you were right!!!! Im sorry.
I figured out what i did wrong; I put the damn o ring in the pump and then stuck the tube in the pump rather than putting the o ring on the tube itself. I would recommend dropping the fuggin oil pan (completely) for anybody that hasnt done it just for safe measure to avoid the situation that i went through. I took off the pickup tube and first got the o ring adjusted, actually threading the bolt in with my hand and fine tightening with a socket, then adding the nuts to the studs on the bottom of the windage tray. Everything is good to go now and its Penut Butter Jelly Time!!!!!
