Not so great ETs for the lil trucks baseline..

I took the lil truck out today to see what it would do stock before we start in on the transformation. I meet up with a few of the guys from SilveradoSS.com also. Pretty cool guys and Hank was running consistant 12.4s in his Radix/Nitrous equipt SS.
The track was[/B]SLICK[/B]!!! My first run I tried to load up on the converter a bit and the thing just sat therer and spun. I literally didn't move for a second, I kept trying to pedal it and was rewarded with a 3.64 60' and an 18.0@82mph.. LMAO
The next two runs I took it a lil more easy but still spun pretty bad off the line. I also manually shifted it as the stock shift points were at 5k. Those runs were 15.5s@88.9mph on 2.36 60's.
I think if I could have launched harder I could have gotten down to a 2.0-2.05 60's which would have put me very close to a 14sec ET but ohh well. It's not like it really matters if this 98k mile motor is strong or not since I have the 370ci monster being built.
Ohh, I also weighed it and with everything stock except the removal of the paper air filter, no spare and no trailer hitch it came in at 4300lbs. I didn't expect it to be that heavy so looks like I have some work to do to get the raceweight down to 4200lbs with the turbo and FMIC on it.

Thanks mate! Now hurry up and pimp some hoes so you can finish up your truck. I am very eager to see some times out of it. It's sick!
