Default Noob question

Hi I'm new here and lookin to buying a 99+silverado RCSB and was wondering where can I buy a LQ9 motor and is there any supercharger application for this motor.

Oh you can buy a supercharger for that bad boy... radix, whipple, vortec, etc. And i think there might even be one for sale somewhere on here.

Look to the right at the sponsors. Several of them make engines for these trucks. Basically any motor for the car will fit in the truck. As for a LQ9 specifically, look at SDPC over to the right. They are the official GM part provider to LS1Tech. Ebay is another place and in this sites clasifieds. Superchargers>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Yep, to the right>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thanx for the info but I've got a couple more question.

When swaping the motor what would I need if the truck had a V6 4.3 or a V8 4.8/5.3 engine in it to begin with.

Swap would be much easier if you get a truck with a v8 from the factory. If you plan on supercharging you would be better off getting the LQ4 6.0L that is rated at 320hp because it has less compression, and you would be able to run more boost safely.
