Default Nitrous problems

I have a Compucar dry kit with the 60hp jet in it. The bitch won't spray the nitrous!

It works damn good when it shoots, but its always been bad for getting air in the lines. Now it won't spray at all, quit on me at the track Thursday night.

I can hear the solenoid click, but no nitrous. The bottle is only 3 pounds shy of being full, so its not that.

I have no presure gauge or purge valve, coming soon (I hope) if the money situation allows.

HELP ME!!!!PLEASE!!!

maybe your line/jet is clogged? unhook your bottle and open it alittle bit to make sure nitrous is coming out of it. other than that i have no idea.

btw: do you run at carolina dragway (jackson)?

Maybe the jet is bad - can you see light through it? If it was spraying just not very much, I'd say you need to heat the bottle, but when you say it doesnt spray at all, there must be a blockage somewhere.

It sprays out the bottle, but I haven't had a chance to see where its clogged. I'll let you know what's up.

Oh, btw, anyway to clean a solenoid? The jet should be easy, but I'm not sure about the solenoid.

honestly with all that pressure in those lines - nothing should be 'clogged' - but maybe there is some flaw in the solenoid or jet - like metal chip or shavings or something blocking the flo......I'm just throwing out ideas

Definetly something in the solinoid... Easy to take apart. Just pay attention. Make sure the inlet fitting has a screen in it and its clean.

Askip = Andy Skipper?

If so, I've heard of you before! Jeremy Brown (blue GMC with 20's, billet grille) told me I should get up with you.

I have actually moved to Mooresville, NC for school. In Conway, I stay over near the Maple community (off of 701N near Saddlebrook).

Well, I'll try to clean up that solenoid this weekend.

But, why does my N2O always get air in the lines? Is it because I don't get the bottle cooled off before I fill it. It's always been compressed in at room temperature.

Have them freeze your bottle Before they fill it up with gas. It makes for a much better fill.

Freeze the bottle? Better fill? I hope your not paying extra for these better fills ...

Unless these people telling you this have some means of changing the laws of physics, nitrous (hot or cold) has the same mass and you will get no more or less when the bottle is frozen. In all actually, if you have used a transfer pump on a bottle while filling, all you have to do is turn the bottle upsidedown a few times and the bottle will become cold to the touch.
