Is there any trucks around the Houston area with stock motors, no pulleys, no headers making 350hp at the wheels? Whats the highest hp truck ls1 at the dyno days?

**** not without blowers. Back when I dynoed my 99 Formula there was a guy at MTI with a 2000 Lightning with all the usual mods and NOS. He made 351hp on the first pull with the Kenne Bell 2 stage chip in the first stage, then with stage 2 he made 360hp. He didn't have enough bottle pressure to spray it. He had a lot of stuff done to that thing along with different pulleys on the blower. I would think 300rwhp is probably possible with all the bolt ons you can find on a NA 5.3.

 

Well i think i might be able to suprise some people at the dyno day with my truck and a uddies truck... I hope to make some impressive #'s out of a stock truck.

Are you as good with these trucks as you were with the Mustangs? I think we need to talk! I am not trying to build a race truck but wouldn't mind some 13 second 1/4s, emissions legal and still getting some decent mpgs. I think I will have to catch up with you. I have a FIPK on the way. I saw him the other day also...lol He wanted to race his stroke against my truck and them thought twice...lol No Just the same ol ****...I like to go fast no matter what I'm in.
