Default newbie to compression...241s on a 6.2?

ok, my cuz crashed his escalade and the insurance let him keep it cheap. He let me have the 6.2 complete. I want to install this on my 09 but need to swap out the heads to the GenIII style cause of the intake runners. I have ported 241's that were banched and flowed 295 at a 600 lift. Now, with a stock MLS GM head gasket what would be my compression? I will also be installing LS7 lifters and Zr1 camshaft..

P.S. I have a Roush TVS1900, thous the reason for needing to swap the heads. Would love to keep the l92's..lol..

I would advise a set of 243 or 799. Do not put 241 heads on there.

Using a CR Calculator that is easy to find with a search online, I get:

241 - 10.9 CR

243/799 - 11.2 CR

317 - 10.3-10.4 Cr depending on where the CC size comes from

These are assuming stock .051 gasket with .010 out of the hole.

those stock L92 heads flow.... 330 @ .600 lift from the factory!!! find a new style intake and leave the stock heads on it!!! .... now I know you have the SC......... but you should beable to find a lower intake for that blower to match the L92's

and if you have to go with the old style head then the Lq9 head will drop your compression a bit over the Ls6/LS2 head I believe
