Default new waterpump FYI

you might remember my post about my water pump
1st post
but i replaced it and the design is different, it comes with seals and a new thermostat, i insatalled a 180 thermostat on my old pump a month ago, and when i went to put it on the new one, it dosen't fit, but the truck runs at the same temp that it did with the 180 stat, so gm must have made a new stock thermo. so don't expect to use your oldones if you replace the waterpump, with a new gm one
also the bolts that hold the thermostat in a pure junk, not heat treated. broke one off, reused my old ones

Yeah my classic 07 came with a new design water pump. Found out when they installed my radix and it didn't match up. So they had to pull the brand new one off and swap out for an oder model to get it to work properly.
