New Tuner
#1
Just reprogrammed my stock tune for the first time and the results were wow
The tuner was a hand held by CraneCams which my local tuner shop Vinci Hi-Performance helped supply the data for through 130+ configurations through dyno tuning. The Options were pretty simple, I set top speed limiter at none selected med grade fuel and Hi Perfromance with firm shifts just to name a few. Throttle response is much better and the most noticable is the shift into second, it about rips my neck back at 6000+ RPMs when it shifts and pulls really hard when it used to bog down after the shift.

I guess there are a lot of choices out there and Im not ready for any complicated tunes that require a lap top and software so I was trying to decide between a handheld or mail order like nelson. I chose the VHP tuner because I heard some good things about them and they are down the road from me, the service is great and will be going back for some of my future mods.
