Default New truck on the way! Cam question?

I'm getting a 2002 Silverado 2500HD, Ext Cab. Right off the bat the truck in getting deep window tints, K&N Filter and a catback (not sure which one yet). As you guys know the 6.0 is standard in the 2500 HD. What cam should I go with. I don't want anything to do with changing valvesprings or computer programming. I want a direct bolt-on and go cam. What do you recommend?

Mike, you are going to need a cam with .500 lift or less, to stay with stock springs..I would find a cam with a .114/.113 LSA and .212-.214 duration intake and .218-.220 exhaust..Something in that are should be nice..

ls6 cam has way too high of an lsa for a big truck like that one (116). a 112-114ish on a not too big durration cam is your best bet for quicker et's

Mike,

Yeah, the LS6 cam has to big a LSA ,plus you would have to change springs with it.. .525 lift, to high for stock springs..
