Default NEW Track times

Even with the ses code, Stall helped alot. The g80 really does suck
with me Truck wieghing 4230( no tonneau or 20's)
consistent runs- 1.9 60'14.02 @ 96.57 (shifting at 5800 1-2, 5800 2-3 finishing 1/4 in 3 at about 4400.)

Have the problem narrowed down to the nuetral saftey switch(thanks to big tex) going to have it looked at this week. Looks fine from the outside?
Before I left, I Programed it back to the stock tuning from hyp 3 with the 180 stat and ran 14.47 @ 92 2.0 60'.

Are you saying the HPP3 is worth 4 tenths?

Nice new time by the way, you're a tweak away from the 13's and you are running great mph.

Oh and I would try 6000 rpm shift points.

LS1's in F-Bodies peak around 5900 so shifting a little higher is good.

You can't really go over 6100 without running the risk of floating valves.

A guess the Hyp 3 was worth it because after detunning it and letting it warm up it ran the 14.47 with stock shiffting at 5200 or so rpms. the 60 only went up t0 2.0
Next mod is an Eaton. After that I'm going to go with Ls1 edit- Dyno tuned(a few hours away in Con)

Good times, sounds like you G80 is getting tired. You might try changing you're differential lube if it's going to be a while before you can get a Eaton posi.

Your truck is running good, loose the 20's for the track and you'll pick up .2-.3, At least that's what I saw.Mine wiegh 75lbs(moda 20X9.5 w 275/45-20)
I was thinking to match the MT streets I run, is to get cheapo 215/70-16 front tire on the 16" stocker, That will give me the matching 28" hieght and be alot lighter that the 20's or even the 235/75-16 stock generals.
mods: 70 degree and dry,
KN fipk w/sb open end filter- descreened Maf
crank pulley- flx 150 elec fan-Az headers- no cats- simms-
B&B triflo dual catback- hyp 3 180 stat- ngk/magnacore-
Hotchkis full kit/bilstien shocks. Biggest improvement was the Torque thruster 3000 3.0 stall with super servos/clutch kit hardened shaft etc along with the 28X11.50 -16 MT et streets.

I would love to get a Radix cause I know the tranny will hold it, but like evrything else,$$$$$$
If I can sell the Hotchkis I was going to 4 link it. Had it on my first Truck and it cleans and lightens the frame up also bites hard.
