Re: Finally
Install was completed on Wednesday. EJ @ 21st century in Dallas did an excellent job
Tuning is still not complete. We have a single users LS1 edit cable for it, and it must be faulty. We could get no connection with it. We were able to download the PCM with another Edit cable, but cannot program the changes with the faulty one. Waiting on carputing to get it straightened out.
I got to hear the first startup, and I must say that it sounds great! The exhaust is very tame with the cutouts closed. It revvs up so fast and so hard. With cutouts open, its deafning. Like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.
It will not idle correctly with the addition of more cubes, aggressive cam, and larger injectors.
The near virgin LQ9 now has a new home in my garage.
If anyone hears / sees this pull up next to them in the DFW area, beware! You will know it, it has a very healthy sound and a nice lope.
Here is another shot of the dual 3" X-pipe, cutouts, and Magnaflows:

Re: Finally
BigTex... do you own/work at a speed shop in D/FW? I live in this area and would be nice to go to a place that is trustworthy.
Thanks!
