Default new track times

new times from ennis last night.

Oh thats right i blew the motor. Thats right the the number one rod right through the oil pan. The entire driver side of the oil pan was blown off. BigTex, GrayGMC and IEATRICE (sorry brian don't know ur tech name) saw it happen. So i am selling a lot of parts off of the truck.
Cal-Tracs
Rear Sway bar
NX wet kit W/ heater, purge and guage
3000 stall. email me if interested. And being the nice guy i am i let graygmc borrow my slick and he cut a 13.3. not bad for a 4.8. good job ryan.

I am sorry about all that happened to you last night. I think that you could put a little blame on your Ed Wright PCM for that. I wish I would have stayed around to see Ryan run on those slicks. After you blew your engine, Ryan looked like he didn't want any more nitrous touching his truck.

Nice time Ryan - 13.3 is a FAST4.8!

JJ - sent you an email.

I wonder how much trouble it would be to remove the ext cab part of the truck for the track. reg cab trucks. Ryan, what shot are you running? and what size fuel pills? I'm procrastinating on everything, trying to decide on if I wanna run stock motor w/ boltons and gas or go ahead and heads/cam/boltons/gas next time out.

Greg
maybe I'll change to "Somewhat Fast for a 5000# race weight 4.8"

i am thinking about either getting the 6.0 block or the c5r block and putting turbos on the truck. I plan on putting 600+ rwhp, but not any time soon bout a year maybe two to get it running the way i want to. It is going to cost a lot of money thats the only bad thing. I didn't get a chance to beat my old best either but i think that the 8.2 1/8 would be in the 12's all day long. Shooting for 10's next.

The C5R block without the heads is quite a bit more money with little return. A well built 6.0 would do you the same. If you are going all out with money being no object, the C5R block and head combo is great but also look for a custom intake...there is nothing that fits it. You can see the $$$ add up...but then again you are already talking a TT small block so what's another 5K here 5k there

Sounds like an animal

8.2 in the 1/8 should net easy 12.8's...how was your 60'? If you were running 1.8+ you had even more potential.

yah, but he will eventually leave the turbo idea and go back to the juice, LOTS of juice (250-300) he is just confused right now

a turbo setup would cost WAYYYYY too much.

I think getting about 350+ on motor with a 6.0 block and have the nitrous in reserve is the way to go. If you go with forged internals and have it built for nitrous, you shouldn't run into the same problem you just had.
