6.0 identification?
#1
Does anyone know how to check block numbers to identify a new style vortech motor? I am looking at one to swap my 4.8 and want to make sure it is what it is. <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" />

It will be stamped on the block. It is located on the driver side front of the block. It should say 6.0 right there. If it is installed, the power steering pump and alt will hide it. You can also look for the rpo codes.
