Default New track time

With Allens tune I knocked off .4 .
60 1.945
330 5.627
1/8 8.757 78.28mph
1000 11.493
1/4 13.825 96.49

Now I need to get some drag radials and try it in 2wd.

My truck is very similar to yours. BTW, have you weighed your truck at the track? I am guessing between 4000-4200# but do not know for sure. I have some e.t. streets and will run in 2wd with my whipple which has now been transferred to my Z71. Hopefully I can run mid 13's but we shall see once I go to the track. I am still running the aux whipple injectors and stock tune. How much does the 4wd drag at the other end? I would bet you are losing 4-5mph with the truck in 4HI....but I suppose that is better than getting a 2.3 60' from lack of traction. Thanks.

In a Z71 1/2ton you should be starting off in 4Hi then switching into 2Hi once you get off the line. 4Hi will rob power and you really don't need it the whole way unless you are making crazy power like Parish and a few others.

Better think about more weight than that. Mine weighs in at 4200 and it probably the lightest config around. RCSB, stepside 2wd.

Nice tmes dood. Sounds like you got that Whipple running good.

I never weighed the truck but would guess 4800#. I tried swithing to 2HI but it didn't kick out of 4HI for some reason. I'm hope to be mid 13's also. Maybe after the fans, headers and some drag radials i'll be there.

a completely stock regular cab sport side 4x4 should weigh in around 4500 to 4700.
