Default new torque converter sux

Got my new BTE torque converter installed this week, now my truck viberates at low end (in gear or in park), but it does stall at 2200( not the 2600 I was expecting from it) but about 500 over stock so I went to test and tune last to see if my 60'times got better than the 2.3?'s it had been turning ? @#*^% NO,and I lost 2 mph on top. This is the second time in with this BTE converter and memphis performance will probably exchange it again. Just like doing business with a junkyard they will stand behind their products as long as you lay it on their counter.Save money on the products but get to install,reinstall,reinstall... Just had to vent and maybe save the next guy the same greef.Dang sure hate loosing .5 second though.Jim

Hey Jim just get them to get the shake out of the convertor. The ET can be cured and the cure is setting in the office. You can even choose how much cure you want.

Like the dog that swallowed the peachpit, this too shall pass. I was very dissapointed with my 60's last night the track had so much sticky stuff on it I could'nt spin the tires at all. They had to clean the track 5 or6 times (several old cars w/nos)mostly transmission fluid, and every time they clean, the spray the track.

You need to buy that one from Jim so he can get a Yank 3000 like I have.If you do that and add about 700lbs of lead so this heavy SUV will have a chance. No really the Yank is hard to beat, but you will probably want the 3200 as light as your truck is.
