If you wanted more boost you could call up ASP pulleys they just made me a 3" pulley and that should get you close to 15 psi. Hope this helped

I've been thinking about putting my entire kit on ebay and buying the single belt compressor setup for whipple. Mabye I'll give it more thought. Mine came with a 4" pulley stock and made 4.5 psi of boost. I put on a 3 5/8 pulley, but only make 6psi now. I was going for 8. Mabye the belt is slipping.

Wow, now that's the kind of info I need , Thanx guys
Yellow, how much stuff did you get from whipple, blower, brackets, belt drive, intake tube and elbow to t/body?
Do you recall what it cost?
Which pulley should I start with.

I got the whole setup from www.superchargers4less.com for $2900. That was about a year ago so it may have went up alittle. I just told him I wanted to buy a kit with everything but the electronics and want the supercharger with the mechanical bypass. Tell him you are going to use bigger injectors and a custom tune. You can get 42lb. injectors for around $350 from allen nelson and he will set you up with a nice tune to if you decide to go with him. www.nelsonperformance.com Thats who I use and recommend. Tell him justin sent you. The only other thing you will have to do is either order the extentions for the tps and the other sensor on the thottle body I can't remember what it is off the top of my head or you can buy some wire and make them your self because the factory wire will not reach on the side of the supercharger were the thottle body is relocated. hope this helped

Thanx yellow.
I was going to use a nelson tune so I will probably get the injectors from them as well.
On the blower, if I want a mechanical bypass i should order a new unit rather than trying to find a used one? a used one with m/bypass will likely be the older 2 belt design?
If I can find a used single belt unit, with a vacuum bypass, is there any reason not to re-route the vacuum hoses as Ryan showed in his post above?

This should be the last 2 questions, thanx for your help.

I think his way will work to its just you need you bypass to work because if you block it off it will cause the supercharger to heat up the air alot hotter than normal. I think ryans way still uses the bypass but not sure.

Yup it still uses the bypass. I was unaware that one could order a single belt kit with a mechanical bypass. I would go that route if you can sorry if this is late. Good luck man

I think I can bolt it up and call Nelson, instead of having to buy whipples computer set up for the 6.0 they want $2000...........any more help would be cool.......

All you need to do is get rid of the electronics, add 42lbs injectors and get a custome tune from somebody!
