hyde that is a bad *** truck i never got to talk to that guy ...i was wondering who did his tuning ...see i called mti two times and they keep telling me they dont do tuning on trucks i wish they did it would be there right now......

MTI is not set up for trucks. The way Jayson has to do trucks is with your equipment and program.

 

I don't understand that ....We got ls1 edit for cars for kevins truck and it worked fine? Greg u wanted my number so call....***

 

Hyde - Did you have someone with an unlimited cable tune Kevs truck or did he buy his own copy?

If someone with an unlimited cable tuned it they must have had the truck license also. If you buy the cable for yourself then it is setup for whatever vehicle you will be using it on.

If MTI doesn't have a truck license it won't work on the trucks.

 

**** Kevin bought a his own cable and ****...But if i am not mistakin it is for a LS1 motor...Not a 5.3 truck

 

Its been a while since i've even thought about this stuff....lol...Been working to long....Smokin to much DRO....lol

 

The software all looks the same but, try reading a car .LS1 file with it. It shouldn't read it.

I have a cable with my '01 SS and '00 Sierra both programmed into it. I have LS1edit software for each one. The truck software won't read the car files and vice versa.

Goto www.ls1edit.com , download a car file from the flash library and try to read it.

 

So you are saying his file is for a truck....**** i don't remember what we ordered ....I know we gave it a tune and came up with acceptable #'s on the dyno...lol
