I guess I am the guy whitedakota was talking about. I could help you with the tune depending on your time constraints-I am really busy the next few weeks. When are you planning on installing the new motor?

So I pulled the heads off the 6.0 today. There is some rust in the cylinders. I am soaking it in penetrating oil overnight. I may have to disassemble this motor to hone the cylinders. Any other ideas to clear up the rust. I'm scared to turn the crank cause the rings are gonna catch in the rust.

What did you do about the rust in the cylinders? Hit it with rust penetrant and ran it? The cylinder walls on my LQ9 aren't rusted but are stained pretty bad from the rings sitting in place for a few years
