Default New member needs HELP!

I installed a Weiand 300-111 intake on a 5.3L truck motor that my customer supplied me because he did not like the truck intake. The speed shop he purchased from said it would fit. So I installed the intake per the instructions. I am down to getting the truck running to finish this project up. My question is: the two barbed 5/16" fitting coming out of the front of the intake are for what? Also look under the throttle body there are also two fittings coming out of the throttle body as well. What do these connect to? The throttle body is off of a 2004 Tahoe and is the Drive By Wire unit. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I called tech support for Weiand and said the only help would be if this was an LS1 motor application. They said they have never installed on a 5.3L motor so no support there. Hence that is why I am on here asking the car gods on what to do. I am going to try to post pics here as well but be patient with me!!

The barbs under the throttle body are for coolant flow. This keeps the TB from freezing up and locking up in extreme cold. I'm assuming the LS1 flows through the intake vs the TB in a truck.

So I could potentially cap off one set of these correct? I thought maybe that's what they were for. I know on the truck the throttle body lines go to one of the heads and the other side to the radiator. I just didn't know if the lines went to the intake from the throttle body.

I would just cap them off (intake) or loop both together.

Yes the two that are pointing away from each other are infact the coolant passage for the TB.. Put vacuum plugs over them, run the coolant line into one another, call it a day..
