Rev, I think the Kooks and ARH are very close performance-wise, and quality-wise. When I've called for quotes, I've found the prices for the Kooks just a little cheaper, but the shipping to Alaska was way higher than if I bought from ARH. (Plus ARH just made me a dealer).

Thanks for the info Stew, I'm glad I went with a 4" y-pipe now. I hope to have my truck back together soon. Still waiting on the trans.

sell the headers yet? I am looking for a set for my 2007 tahoe z71 4x4 but not sure if I should go with the bigger 1 7/8s dont want to kill any low speed torque. will be doing a magnachager in the future though. was gonna do arh but if price is good will go with these. just noticed super old thread...................oops what did you end up doing I am in the market now.

I just switched from 1.750" pacesetters with true 3" duals (bullets) with X-pipe. Went 11.80's on motor. I now have TSP 1.875 with 3" y-pipe with flowmaster 3 to 3.5 merge collector (bullet and ultraflo mufflers). Both systems were/are mandrel bent. I haven't been back to track, but new exhaust feels MUCH stouter Down LOW.

If it slows down then I will go back to the duals...
