I'm selling my shortblock for 200 this weekend. No one would buy mine with full accessories for 500 this time last year.

You can use the power steering pump and the alternator from the V6... everything else you will need to buy... oh and the V6 trans will bolt up as well

I sold a 2006 longblock with z06 springs this week for 200. It did not have a camshaft or any sensors.

SHORT BLOCKS HAVE THE FOLLOWING INCLUDED.

LOWER BLOCK, CRANKSHAFT, CONNECTING RODS, PISTONS, RINGS, MAIN BEARINGS, ROD BEARINGS, CAM BEARINGS, WARNING ONLY PURCHASE THIS UNIT IF YOU HAVE A QUALIFIED ENGINE SPECIALIST WHO CAN PROPERLY CLEAN, REWORK, AND ASSEMBLE TO A COMPLETE RUNNING ENGINE, IT WILL REQUIRE NUMEROUS NEW PARTS, AND LOTS OF TIME NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE WEEKEND WARRIOR !!!

LONG BLOCK ENGINES HAVE THE FOLLOWING INCLUDED.

BLOCK, CRANKSHAFT, PISTONS, RINGS, MAIN BEARINGS, ROD BEARINGS, CAM BEARINGS, CAMSHAFT, TIMING CHAIN, SPROCKETS, LIFTERS, PUSH RODS, ROCKER ARMS, CYLINDER HEADS, OIL PUMP, OIL SCREEN, AND GASKET SET. THIS WILL ALSO REQUIRE A SKILLED ENGINE SPECIALIST, AND HOURS OF TIME CLEANING THE FOLLOWING PARTS THAT YOU TAKE OFF YOUR OLD ENGINE TO REUSE ON YOUR NEW ENGINE, SUCH AS OIL PAN, TIMING COVER, VALVE COVERS, INTAKE MANIFOLD, CARBURETOR, WATER PUMP DISTRIBUTOR, ALL IGNITION COMPONENTS, IT WILL REQUIRE MANY HOURS OF CLEANING AND ASSEMBLY, PLUS IF YOU SCREW IT UP IT IS YOUR PROBLEM !!!

Sorry about the CAPS, it was a copy and paste from google search

That is an engine shop's description. Long block typically has the oil pan, timing covers, intake manifold and such. BUT that could also be considered "turn key". That's why it is important you educate yourself before you go out of your way to save money and buy a 200 dollar motor only to find out you need to buy 1600 bucks worth of other ****. Then get super pissed that you could have bought a turn key for 1000 bucks. Make sure you get people to give you pics and a full description of what is included. DON'T trust one long block description to the next description.
