Tom, if you ever need a 4.8 to try that or something on, don't hesitate to send it my way.

For all who are interested in this Magna, check out the new issue of Sport Truck magazine. I usually pass on these, but this one had a a new Magna Radix install on a 5.3 silverado.

More pictures than you would expect. They show some detail pics of the water / air interooler and fuel rails. Says it comes with a custom superchips microtuner. Looks like you have to relocate the EGR and IAT sensor. You move the fuel pressure regulator to the new fuel rail.

Says the intercooler's water reservoir is self contained and uses a new radiator. Has a continuious duty pump and runs of normal antifreeze. My first thought when I saw this was filling the reservoir with 0* antifreeze at the track for some super-cooled air.

The install was on a 5.3 truck with a before dyno of 237 hp, 270 tq. After numbers were 369 hp, 397 tq.

Looks like a very high quality system.

Magnacharger has the test vehicles covered but we do have some pretty good prices available if you would like to purchase one of these.

Hey Tom,

Could you email me with a ballpark figure for one of these, and any additional info you may have!

This will be going on a 6.0 Denali. Thanks

TJ

They put a new radiator on in that yellow truck picture. That kit sort of reminds me of another quick Eaton styled truck, but this should easily be able to beat the Lightnings. *Pretty good way to mount the intercooler. I like this kit
