5k doesn't seem that far out of line to me and i bet once it isn't new anymore it will be going for $4500 or so. it sure looks like a nice set up, looks almost factory.

i am not sure about this part but wont a 400+ hp heads and cam set up loose some drivability, lumpy idle, loss of low end(at least no gain), loss of miliage. and at 400+hp with the blower this thing is going to be a dream to drive, boat loads of low end, good miliage, stock driving charistics.

i say if your looking for a killer drag moter sure you could do a heads and cam with forged pistons and rod bolts and a 150shot for the same money and make way more power but thats not what eveyone is looking for.

 

Hey, how did this kit get to $6k? It sounds like someone rounded up from the worst case (full retail, polished ect...).
