Actually, the wide separation gives it a wider power band. The '02 Z06 cam is 2 degrees retarded though, moving the power up the RPM range. An adjustable double roller set to advance the cam about 4 degrees is what I was thinking of going with in order to put the power at the lower end... decisions decisions...
