Sounds like a tuning issue....who tuned it?

Definately sounds like a tuning problem. I'd almost bet that FMU is not working correctly until it sees 3-4lbs of boost. What you are describing is similiar to what would happen with my car when the inline pump wouldn't activate right away because of a faulty pressure switch. The car would surge a little until the pump came on and stabilized the fuel pressure. I've also used FMU's before and they're not the most reliable things.

The first thing you should do is find someplace that can check the air fuel ratio with a wideband or at the very least find someone with a scanner that can monitor your 02 readings at WOT. That would go a long way in helping diagnose your problem.

If it is a problem with the FMU your best bet would be to get bigger injectors and a tune for them and the supercharger.

get ASM 43 lb injectors and make sure your inline pump is wired right....when i first installed my kit i wired it wrong and it pulled enouhg power to run... so the test light would come on there was current running to it but it wasnt enough to push the pump....make sure triple check everyhting il bet its that it sounds exactly like what my truck would do....it gets loud as **** but goes no where.....your leaning it out really bad get those injectors and make sure the pump is working it will feel like a new truck...youll need ls1edit or some kind of tuner to tune the big injectors in.

being in a hurry, looking at the picture only to see what it should look like but faled to read, did you happen to put the lines on the fmu backwards?
