whitt1, Are you sayin that using an EWP will cause overheating during the summer? I'm a little lost by your post.

If your truck sees under 8k a year on the clock, an electric work fine. I would not use it to tow or anything like that. Just remember these things were made for track use and light duty.



LOL!!!They need to include a loud *** buzzer when the temps go over a certain alarm point. That way when your lectric pump craps out, at least you know t.

An underdrive pulley makes most of it's power from underdriving the factory belt-driven water pump and fan. Meziere make the best electric water pump, but for a truck, I would skip it.

ive put on a couple and not seen any gain, that being the only mod on the car, the pulley did though make a change, lol i just found a thread of people complaining about them here you go guys, im not the only one . sorry about not backing it up more clearly.

Yeah, I guess you wouldn't get much of a hp increase since it is a belt driven pump and the EWP still retains a pulley by design. Get rid of the pulley, gain the hp. of course, that would be a major design change!

And considering the cost! looks like a no brainer
