Ok so when is the new truck suppose to come out. And Ill call BS on the power numbers I would be surprised if the 6L tops 380hp. All they do over there is spin a bunch of rumors and 1 in 15 come true and even then they come in a little different form.

 

I dont know, if you think about it, it's not that far fetched... with these new LS2 puting out 400HP 400TRQ in the vettes I dont see why it would be hard to make it do 370 and 385 You guys know as well as I do if you put a cam and LS1 heads on the 5.3 you have just about 320HP and 370 FTRQ. So I dont see what would be so hard about the numbers they are claiming, especially if the LS2 intake manifold is on it!

 

Somebody felt optimistic that day when they wrote the article.

 

I agree,take things with a grain of salt,I glanced at that site and the few posts i looked at many of the forum members were misinformed about the current Gen3 motors and there spec.Stuff that would be common knowledge here.

 

thats not the first time ive seen those numbers for the next LQ4 revision. I want tot hink i remember reading that it would basicaly just be an iron ls2.
