You should be just fine with that. What size injectors are you going with? I would go with 43lb's and ditch the FMU. Just make sure you get the belt good and tight.

the bypass valve that came with the kit is only good for about 6 psi, it wont last long at 9,
so start hunting for a better BOV.
42 lbs injectors will work just fine at 9 psi.
find a local shop and do a dyno tune, after it is all done go hunting for a hemi and have some fun.

What type of BOV do you have Pappydan? For some reason, I don't think mine is working right.

If it is "supposed" to have 9 psi then it will prob be around 6, at least that has been my experience with Powerdyne. Get the boost up around 8 or 9 psi, get the tune right, and I think you will be happy with the results-the Powerdyne heats the air far less than some other blowers and it is capable of making some good power.

Mine is the original one that came with the kit. I never here it blowing off any pressure. I'm wondering if it is bad already.

you will be ok, but an injector upgrade is definately needed. 36's would be fine for what you are doing, just don't try to run the truck without tuning for the new injectors.
