Must be a big bottle!! A stock 8.1 will only put down about 275 rwhp or so. The Allison is a hp hog! Those few bolt ons didnt give him that much........

Here is a dyno of a 8.1/ 6 speed. The Allison will eat more than the 6 speed. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/inde...topic=22502&hl=
