Default New Dyno Numbers 549rwhp and 564rwtq

Went to the Dyno agian yesterday to try out the new tune I got done to remove the torque mangement i couldn't get rid of

Best pull was on 15.8Psi with the exahust uncapped made 549.91rwhp and
564.15rwtq Unlocked covertor
When he hit it on the dyno it shot up too 15psi almost instant and stayed there untill the run was over

I had a few issues i had the boost controller set at 18psi and i couldn't get it to break 16psi ..so i think the wastegate spring needs changing

With the exhaust on we saw instant 10psi and then climb to 14-15psi

The tires were slippping on the dyno some so next time I have to dyno with my slicks

All the testing was done on Pump Gas
No KR on any of the runs at all running about 18-20degrees of timing

Got the wastegate out of the truck now and going to figure out what spring to put in it

Pretty happy with the results so far just need more boost I wanna end up with near 20psi if i can with some c-116 race gas

Track times are coming soon

Nice numbers GMCSKI .

Is there any advantange or disadvantage of running the truck with a locked vs. unlocked convertor on the dyno or at the track?

Geeze! Your my hero! Very impressed with your results. Figuring a 20% loss of power through drivetrain you have 658.8 at the flywheel!
Make a video of your track runs!

I have some Dyno footage
Borrowed my buddies Video Camera but he forgot to give me his Cable to make them into some Mpegs
I'll try and get the vid up in a few days
Just got finished installing the new wastegate spring and shims
Man what a Pain in the *** to get the freaking thing out. One of the bolts is barried almost against the downpipe can't get anything on it so i ended up using a pair of needle nose to tighten it ...getto fab action but it's in at least
time for a test drive

locking the converter will give you higher numbers on the dyno and usualy make it easier to get lower rpm numbers. it also makes comparing numbers a little easier, takes the converter out of the mix.

locking the converter at the track mid run will typicaly give you 1-2mph but no ET, i dont really under stand how that can be but that is what everyone says.

We ran out of time on the dyno and i didn't get a last run in with the convertor locked up ..too Bad Could have been interesting
Looks like I might have a chances at top spot now that your broken.
but who knows Need some more power to account for the 75shot your running
Some Ice in the tank and 5 more psi should do it little Splash of c-16
