Default New driveshaft!

I love having friends that work at dealerships!

Just picked up TWO 3/4-ton G-series van driveshafts. They're 4" aluminum, and already set up for the 1350 joints! And, at 70", they're long enough to be shortened down for my truck.

Getting closer and closer to getting this damn 80-e in.

Did I mention that I had to force this guy to take $10 for BOTH shafts? He was trying to make me take them for free!

I just got my drive shaft about a week ago and got my 80e in on Sat. I got a 4" aluminum with 1350 U joints in it as well. I would suggest that you get the rear pinion yolk from strang that has the 1350 u joints that way all your U joints are that big. Good luck and keep me posted.

70" won't do it, EC d-shafts are about 83" long, u-joint to u-joint.

Anyway, good luck with that, and have you thought about weighing it? I'm curious what the weight diff. is between that and the stocker.
