Default New Doug's Cutout.

Thought I would post some pics and video of the new Doug's cutout I got today. I had a DMH and sold it after getting it warrantied and being less than impressed with his customer service. This one is a little more expensive but it is all stainless and it is the guillotine style instead of the butterfly style.

Details on Doug's cutout

First impressions are that it is very well made. The blade seems like it seals well. You can hear the difference when it starts to seat. Also in the vid its run off a 9V battery so its a little slow and weak. should be much better when its getting 14V in the car. Also, the switch is really nice and it feels good when you press it.

Anyway thought I would post a little about it since I have not seen anyone running this style yet.

I have an earlier version of those on my old '66 truck, and they are spectacular. Seal like a champ and have never failed me. Love them!

I like that design better than any other I've seen. Thanks for the vid.

Ive been looking at these for a while now, they definitely look good. Just wish they came with the round buttons like the DMH cutouts.

It shouldn't be hard to cut out the stock switch and put in whatever one you want.
