Default New custom catback supertruck style. *pics*

Just got the parts in yesterday and had it installed today.

It's a dynomax ultra flow 3" in dual 2.5" out to two 1970-72 style corvette stainless tips.

I like the way that looks. how does that sound?? i had a similar set like that on my but used some 2005 gto tips and it looked really slick but that was the worst sounding exhaust ive ever heard..i took it out on the hiway and went a mile and came right back to the shop and took it off

really what muffler did you use? or was it just the placement?

my muffler is one of the fiberglass packed variety, so it should change with time, it already has today. From what i can tell it sounds really strong, no drone at all cruising at 70mph with 3.42s, but when you step on the gas, it sounds mean.

Does someone know where i can host .wav files? i'd love to get that on here.

Cool man, I like it, looks good.

Similar placement as mine, except I am using dual 4" stainless tips. I used a 2.5" dual in/out muffler for my setup.

It sucks that the fuel tank is in the way to run these out both sides. I need a fuel cell, then I can run side exits out both sides.

The shorter the pipe, the less restriction. Plus there is a slight weight savings.

thanks for the kind words, it means a lot!

In case anyone's interested, i got the muffler for $97, the tips for $57, and got everything installed for $65. $219 is a great price for a catback.

thanks! the whole reason i did this was to emulate that catback but i didn't want to pay $50 each for those tips.
